If you are out and about in the centre of Glasgow in June or July then you might be interested to visit a photographic exhibition at Street Level Photoworks, 103 Trongate.
The exhibition, Govan/Gdansk, brings together the work of four photographers, recording the decline of the shipyards in these two cities, and how they have responded to the post-industrial economy. It runs from 4 June to 31 July.
Go along to the gallery on the opening afternoon between 1pm and 4pm for a series of discussions with the photographers and visitors from Gdansk.
The exhibition is supported by:
- University of the West of Scotland
- Polish Cultural Institute
- Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Edinburgh
- The Royal Society of Edinburgh
- The Scottish Government
