A Settlement

Raising awareness

Historic rural settlements are among the most widespread archaeological remains still visible in the landscape. Yet despite this most sites are poorly understood and there is a general lack of awareness of historic rural settlements and their place in Scottish history. By interpreting the results of your project you can help raise awareness and communicate why these settlements and landscapes are significant to a wider audience.
