SRP Conference 2009

Scotland's Rural Past held its second annual conference on Saturday 14 November 2009 at the Ben Nevis Hotel, Fort William. The conference was very well attended by participants from communities across Scotland and by professionals from the Heritage sector. An excellent and varied range of papers was presented on the progress and findings of SRP participant's projects, in addition to volunteers' exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations and guided walks. A selection of photographs from the conference weekend can be seen here.

Conference delegates were also asked for their feedback on a number of issues that will help SRP and RCAHMS shape the remainder of the SRP project and meet the needs of participants in the longer-term. A summary of the conference evaluation has been compiled for SRP by Scottish Cultural Enterprise and can be seen by clicking here.
