Your ticket to Scotland's history 

Free admission to over 70 of Scotland’s top visitor attractions is yours with an Explorer Pass (40 in winter).  

Visit as many of our properties as you wish within that time – for no additional cost.

Multiple sites may be visited in any one day and one visit per site is permitted.

Buy an Explorer Pass valid for 5 or 14 consecutive days and visit as many of our properties as you wish within that time – for no additional cost.

When you buy an Explorer Pass online, you’ll receive an email with your pass attached as a PDF. This can be printed and used at any site. You must select the date of your first visit when purchasing a pass online – your pass will become valid from this date.

You can also buy an Explorer Pass in person at the first property you visit.

Winter Offer

From 1 November 2018 you can take advantage of our winter offer.

Receive 20% discount on your Explorer Pass and visit any of our 40 sites open throughout the winter months at no extra cost. First date of use must be on or before 31 March 2019, any unused passes will expire thereafter.

As an added benefit, Explorer Pass holders receive 10% discount in our shops on presentation of their valid pass. Please note restrictions apply, read our full terms and conditions for more information.
