About Us

Conservation advice

We provide best practice advice and guidance to anyone who needs it – at a technical level to suit your purposes.

You need suitable knowledge, skills and materials to conserve, repair and maintain the built heritage. This applies whether you’re a specialist practitioner, building professional or homeowner.

We aim to provide best practice advice and guidance to anyone who needs it – at a technical level that suits your purposes.

You can call or email us with your technical query. Our technical staff can advise on most aspects of traditional construction and appropriate maintenance and repair techniques. We can’t make site visits, but we can usually give general advice and point you in the direction of more specific help.

We also provide practical advice on the conservation, repair and maintenance of buildings online.
