Scottish Learning Disabilities Observatory Website Launch

The Scottish Learning Disabilities Observatory, funded by the Scottish Government to improve understanding of the health and healthcare of people with learning disabilities and people with autism across Scotland has launched a new website.

Health boards and local authorities can find out information from their areas relating to people within these population groups as well as finding out information about the new Observatory’s full programme of work.

The Scottish Learning Disabilities Observatory contributes to health improvement by providing information, data, and intelligence on the health and healthcare of people with learning disabilities and people with autism. The aim is to turn this information and data into meaningful health intelligence for practitioners, commissioners, policymakers and the wider community.

The website can be viewed at www.sldo.ac.uk.
