Overview

College lecturers involved in awarding national qualifications during 2020 and 2021 will be given a one-off payment of £400.

The payment recognises the additional workload involved in supporting the delivery of the alternative certification model (ACM) during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funding will be allocated to colleges who will make the payment to eligible existing and former staff.

This guidance explains what colleges and Regional Strategic Bodies need to do to receive the funding.

Colleges need to complete and return the attached form by 30 September 2021.

There is separate guidance on the one-off payment for teachers.
