Covid Co-ordination Directorate

The Covid Co-ordination Directorate seeks to ensure that the Scottish Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic is robust, coherent and effective. 

We are responsible for:

  • co-ordinating cross-government work to suppress the epidemic through our strategic framework
  • providing ministers with advice and briefing
  • responding to the public
  • maintaining COVID-19 regulations and guidance
  • domestic and international travel restrictions
  • overseeing the programme of ‘managed isolation’ of international passengers
