We understand that as we cautiously move towards our recovery from the pandemic the needs of people and communities may continue to change and we will continue to take a flexible approach as community organisations and the projects, activities and services supported through the funding re-establish themselves, such as returning to core service delivery from emergency response support. We continue to encourage you to ensure that your organisation’s Management Board/Committee are fully aware of any changes you need to make.
Please keep in contact with us about any changes you need to make and we will work with you to look at how we can adjust or re-profile expenditure and changes to milestones; and take account of any changes you may need to make to redirect resources to support emerging priorities. Your project should continue to align with the broad principles of the fund in addressing poverty, inequality and disadvantage beyond this exceptional period.
The health and well-being of you, your project teams and volunteers remains very important. Your Board will be supporting you with the planning of services and activities to make sure precautions are in place to protect the health and wellbeing of staff and volunteers. The situation continues to evolve as restriction levels change and we recommend that you keep up to date on the advice and guidance provided by NHS Scotland, your Local Authority and Scottish Government. Scottish Government guidance is updated regularly and includes an onward link to NHS Scotland guidance.
The SCVO Coronavirus Third Sector Information Hub provides a wide range of information, including links to the latest Scottish Government coronavirus guidance and information on funding available.
Further guidance is available from OSCR at: OSCR - update from the regulator.
